NHTI/USNH Dual Admission

Attending college at NHTI can be your first step toward your bachelor’s degree!

DualNH provides a seamless academic pathway from NHTI to one of the institutions of the University System of New Hampshire (USNH): University of New Hampshire, Keene State, Plymouth State and Granite State) in a broad range of programs.

If you enroll in this program, you will receive special academic advising to chart a seamless transfer pathway.

Admission to USNH is guaranteed by maintaining a 2.5 GPA and earning your associate degree while remaining in good standing. Only courses in which you earn a C or better will transfer. It’s important to talk to an academic advisor as you plan your courses.

*Program pathways include most liberal arts degrees and, depending on the specific colleges, other programs outside of liberal arts. An NHTI academic advisor can work with you to determine which programs are part of DualNH and which may be accessible through other types of transfer agreements between the institutions.

Degree Pathways with UNH

UNH has partnered with NHTI to offer a Pathways Program that allows you to smoothly transition to a wide variety of bachelor’s degree programs on the UNH-Durham campus. Academic guidance sheets show you exactly which courses to take while enrolled as a NHTI student for seamless transfer to the program of your choice.

Dual Admission Program with UNH-Manchester

NHTI and UNH-Manchester allow students interested in pursuing specific degree pathways to be admitted jointly to both institutions. After earning your associate degree at NHTI in one of these majors, you’ll automatically begin studies for your bachelor’s degree at UNH-Manchester without having to complete a separate application.
