All students who are formally accepted into a program may apply for financial aid. We suggest you apply for financial aid at the same time you are applying for admission to the college.

Don’t Know What Program to Apply For

If you are undecided about a major or you want to transfer to a 4-year institution for a major that NHTI does not offer, consider our Liberal Arts program.

Are a Current NHTI Student Looking to Change Programs

The online application is not used for currently enrolled students to change their major or apply for a second major. Please complete the Change of Program/Dual Major form and return to the NHTI Admissions Office.

Want to Transfer From Another College

If your current college isn’t a great fit for you, transfer to NHTI! With our 90+ academic programs and the lowest tuition in New Hampshire, transferring can give you a chance to find a major you love, feel more at home and save thousands on your education.

Have Completed Prior College Courses

You’ll want to have a copy of your official college transcript sent to NHTI so we can evaluate it for transfer credit. Additionally, prior college coursework can waive you from placement testing. Have transcripts sent to:

Are Applying for an Allied Health Program

All health programs begin in the Fall except for the Radiologic Technology and Nursing LPN-RN Completion program, which begin in the Summer semester. These programs have application deadlines to apply and additional requirements for admission, so be sure to review the “Specific Admission Requirements” which are listed on your major’s Academic Program page.

Application Deadlines for 2020 Health Programs are listed below:

  • Radiologic Technology: January 3, 2020
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography: January 3, 2020
  • Dental Hygiene & Dental Assisting: January 24, 2020
  • Nursing RN: January 24, 2020; Early Action: November 8, 2019
  • LPN-RN Completion: March 6, 2020
  • Radiation Therapy: March 13, 2020
  • Orthopaedic Technology: March 13, 2020

All other non-health programs begin in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters and have no application deadlines.
