The WorkReadyNH program at NHTI, Concord’s Community College helps job seekers and career builders improve their skills and add a nationally recognized credential to their resume. WorkReadyNH provides 60 hours of classroom instruction in "soft skills" practices identified by employers as key to workplace success. The National Career Readiness Certificate is an evidence-based, portable credential from ACT and used in all 50 states in the hiring process to reduce hiring costs and ensure workplace success and retention.

WorkReadyNH Program Fall Schedule at NHTI!

Upcoming 3 week classes:

March 10 – March 27

April 7 - April 24

May 5 - May 22

June 2 - June19

Each session is 3 weeks long for 4 days a week.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:15 am to 3:15pm

A class day consists of 5.5 hours of Workplace related skills training, ½ hour for lunch, and 1 hour of online practice for the NCRC exam.
It is expected that students will spend at least 4 hours a week on NCRC practice. Students can also access the website on their own time.

Eligibility: This is a FREE program, regardless if you are working full time, part time, or unemployed and are:

  • US Residents age 18+
  • Ready to succeed in the workplace!

In addition to participants pursuing the National Career Readiness Certificate training online, there will be 60 hours of workshops centered around a mock workplace on topics such as:  job interviewing, employer expectations, safety regulations, communication skills, team building, conflict resolution, problem solving, business etiquette, and customer service. Completion of these workshops allows individuals to get feedback in a safe environment while they ‘practice’ their employment readiness skills and learn new skills before re-entering the workforce. These skills are often a requirement for an individual’s readiness for employment.
