In this course you will learn about the types of flight systems available, their capabilities, and how to pick the one that would be best for your organization.  You will also learn to apply drone technology to bring efficiences to your business.

This course prepares you to earn your remote pilot certificate.  It is designed to give you the instruction you need to prepare for and successfully pass the FAA remote pilot knowledge test.  The test itself, administered at an authorized FAA Knowledge Testing Center, will be a written exam with no piloting demonstration required.

In this course you will learn best practices for drone-based image data collection.  You will also get an introduction to basic post-processing techniques using Pix4Dmapper.  You will need to have access to the current version of Pix4Dmapper so you can work on class activities.

Monday June 3, Wednesday June 5, Friday June 7, and Monday June 10, 2024, 10:00am – 3:00pm ET - SkyOp Online Classroom

In this course you will learn best practices for capturing outstanding aerial imagery.  You will get an introduction to using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro for post-processing.  You will need to have access to the current versions of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro so you can work on class activities.  These applications are part of Adobe Creative Cloud.
