Preparing students for health careers

In fall 2025, we are launching our first Living Learning Community to prepare students for health careers. This is an incredible opportunity to enrich your academic experience and achieve your full potential if you are seeking a career in our of our Allied Health pathways:

  • Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting
  • Nursing
  • Orthopedic Technology
  • Paramedic Emergency Medicine
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Radiation Therapy

What is a Learning Community?

A Learning Community is a group of like-minded students who take two or more courses together. These students receive the support and connection that comes from working together to help each other learn and stay motivated. In our fall 2025 program, enrolled students receive reserved spots in a three-day schedule of face-to-face daytime courses.

A Living Learning Community offers those students the opportunity to also live in the same housing areas and foster close-knit relationships both in the classroom and outside of it. They’ll have the opportunity to participate in activities designed to help them discover more about their career, the college, and themselves. Our fall 2025 program will be hosted in Langley Hall. Special hall programs will expose students to professionals in the healthcare field, and their other common interests.
