NHTI, Concord’s Community College offers students a range of transfer opportunities to continue their education at 4-year colleges and universities, in New Hampshire and beyond. With transfer partnerships like NH Transfer and the NH Transfer Guarantee, NHTI has many resources available to assist you with this transfer process. You can work directly with your department chair or academic advisor, but the resources below will help you get started.
NH Transfer
NH Transfer provides New Hampshire students with information on transferring to an institution within the University System of New Hampshire, including Keene State College, Plymouth State University, and the University of NH. NH Transfer helps New Hampshire students map the most seamless & cost-effective pathway to degree completion.
A new collaboration between the Community College System of NH and the University System of NH offers 100+ direct pathways designed to help students move smoothly from associate degree programs offered by NH’s community colleges to bachelor’s degree programs offered by the University System of NH. |

The Granite Guarantee is a financial aid program that can cover the cost of tuition for qualified New Hampshire Resident students for up to four years. The program now includes New Hampshire transfer students who receive federal Pell Grants, meaning these students may be eligible to pay no tuition to attend UNH, Keene State, or Plymouth State University after transferring from NHTI!

*Program pathways include most liberal arts degrees and, depending on the specific colleges, other programs outside of liberal arts. An NHTI academic advisor can work with you to review eligibility requirements and determine which academic programs offer guaranteed admission for eligible students through the NH Transfer program and which may be accessible through other types of transfer agreements between the institutions.
Degree Pathways with UNH

UNH has partnered with NHTI to offer a Pathways Program that allows you to smoothly transition to a wide variety of bachelor’s degree programs on the UNH-Durham campus. Academic guidance sheets show you exactly which courses to take while enrolled as a NHTI student for seamless transfer to the program of your choice.
NH Transfer Guarantee
The New Hampshire Transfer Guarantee is a transfer partnership between CCSNH community colleges and participating four-year colleges and universities, including Colby Sawyer, Franklin Pierce University, New England College, and the public University System of New Hampshire colleges.
Eligible CCSNH associate degree graduates are able to transfer seamlessly with admission guaranteed and no application fee! Students can review eligibility requirements and program options on the CCSNH NH Transfer Guarantee portal at https://www.ccsnh.edu/transfer-guarantee-search/ .
SNHU Dual Admission Program
SNHU offers a one-of-a-kind transfer pathway through our Dual Admission program with NHTI and the CCSNH colleges. The Dual Admission Program for students at NHTI includes acceptance into your major upon completion of an Associate degree with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
The Dual Admission Program for students at NHTI includes:
- Acceptance into your major upon successful completion of your associate degree with a cumulative college GPA or 2.0 or higher (excludes Nursing; be sure to review the AS Nursing RN to BSN eligibility requirements)
- An official credit evaluation
- Personalized one-on-one advising each semester from your SNHU transfer admission counselor to help you maximize your time at your community college

RN to BSN Public Pathway
NHTI nursing graduates can make a seamless transition to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at UNH’s College of Professional Studies (UNH CPS) while taking advantage of NHTI’s low tuition rates.
The RN to BSN Public Pathway allows you to complete your third year toward a BSN at NHTI. By earning 90 credits at NHTI, you save substantially on tuition while continuing classes in a familiar environment; those with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in another field who also hold an Associate of Science in Nursing are only required to take Statistics and an additional 30 credits of nursing courses through UNH CPS to complete their BSN. In addition, New Hampshire residents who are CCSNH graduates with a conferred Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) will receive scholarships that reduce the per-credit cost of tuition when they’re admitted into our RN to BSN program.
You’ll complete the BSN by earning 30 additional credits through traditional, online and hybrid format courses through UNH CPS.
NHTI Nursing alumni and current second-year Nursing students seeking to complete their “year 3” coursework at NHTI may completing the RN to BSN Public Pathway form and return the completed form to the NHTI Admissions Office.

- Complete an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Pass the Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN).
- Hold an active, unrestricted RN license and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
NHTI Nursing program alumni who are registered nurses are also eligible.
