Fighting Food and Clothing Insecurity at NHTI
The NHTI Lynx Pantry and Lynx Closet are on-campus resources aimed to help our students with free food and professional clothing options to promote academic and career success.
The Lynx Pantry is an on-campus food pantry that offers all members of our campus community access to food for free. We offer non-perishable, shelf-stable food, personal care items and perishable (fruits, vegetables, bread, refrigerated, and frozen) food options.
The Lynx Closet is a donation-based clothing supply resource that provides members of our campus community professional clothing options including, suits, dresses, shoes, and accessories to help with job interviews and career options.
Where Can You Find the Lynx Pantry and Lynx Closet?
The Lynx Pantry and Lynx Closet are located on the first floor of Little Hall across from the Academic Affairs office. Anyone can access these locations when the building is open.
A Brief History
The Lynx Cupboard was established in Fall 2019 to address food insecurity at NHTI to support our students’ academic pursuits. The name was changed to the NHTI Lynx Pantry when the pantry reopened in the Fall of 2020 with expanded offerings and the ability to offer refrigerated and frozen options.
The Lynx Closet was established in 2022 to address the needs of our students looking to begin and further their careers. Professional-styled clothing can be expensive, and having an on-campus location in which students and our community members can find free professional clothing helps alleviate the added expenditure of purchasing clothing for the workplace.

Unsure of what to donate? Check out our Amazon Wish List! Other items not on this list are also welcome. For the Lynx Closet, we are accepting gently used, clean professional clothing, hangers, etc.
