NHTI Volleyball Goes 1-1 Over the Weekend (10/07)

Concord, NH – The NHTI Volleyball team started off the weekend defeating Bunker Hill CC in straight sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-19) before they fell to conference foe Unity College in three sets (17-25, 25-21, 25-22). Shannon Armstrong (Alton, NH) led the Lynx with 11 kills over the two matches. Armstrong added four aces, and seven digs. Jailyn Robinson (Manchester, NH) added 10 kills, five digs, an ace and a block. Kayla Galipeault (Moultonborough, NH) contributed 34 assists, six kills, six aces, two digs and a pair of blocks.

NHTI Volleyball Drops Contest to Great Bay CC in Straight Sets (10/03)

Portsmouth, NH – The NHTI Volleyball team fell to Great Bay CC on Thursday in straight sets (12-25, 21-25, 14-25). On the year NHTI is 7-7 with a 5-4 record in the YSCC good for third place. For the contest Kayla Galipeault (Moultonborough, NH) led the Lynx with three kills, six assists, two blocks and a dig. Addie Lacey (Merrimack, NH) contributed three kills, two blocks and three digs, while Shannon Armstrong (Alton, NH) added two kills, six assists, an ace and a pair of digs. Next up for Women’s Volleyball will be on Saturday as they host Bunker Hill CC at 12:30 pm and Unity College at 2 pm.

 

NHTI Volleyball Goes 1-2 Over the Week (09/30)

Concord, NH – The NHTI Volleyball team went 1-2 over the weekend against non-conference opponents. The Lynx started their week defeating Northern Essex CC in five sets (25-22, 17-25, 25-13, 21-25, 15-11). NHTI followed by losing two on Sunday first against Five Towns College in five sets (16-25, 23-25, 25-20, 30-28, 13-15) and then against Old Westbury in three sets (19-25, 16-25, 16-25). Shannon Armstrong (Alton, NH) led the Lynx over the week with 16 kills, 24 digs, 23assist, and 10 aces. Addie Lacey (Merrimack, NH) added 16 kills of her own with 25 digs, three aces and an assist. Kayla Galipeault (Moultonborough, NH) contributed 12 kills, 24 digs, 25 assists and six aces.

NHTI Volleyball is ranked #10 in the USCAA Fall Coaches Week 1 Poll (09/26)

Concord, NH - On Wednesday the Unites States Collegiate Athletic Association soccer and volleyball fall coaches week 1 poll was released and the NHTI Volleyball team was ranked tenth.

The NHTI Volleyball team has a record of 6-4 this season under first year head coach Katie Weijer. The Lynx are ranked second in aces per set and nineteenth in points per set.

For the individual statistics in the USCAA, Kayla Galipeault (Moultonborough, NH) ranks eleventh in aces per set (0.94) as well as twenty-third in assists per set (3.69). Suhanna Miller (Manchester, NH) ranks fourteenth in aces per set (0.88) and Addie Lacey (Merrimack, NH) ranks twenty-first in the same category (0.75).

NHTI Volleyball Goes 1-2 Over the Weekend (09/22)

Concord, NH – The NHTI Volleyball team went 1-2 over the weekend. NHTI lost both matches on Saturday losing to UMaine Machias in four sets (25-21, 18-25, 19-25, 22-25), and dropping a contest to Paul Smith’s College in three sets  (23-25, 17-25, 14-25). On Sunday the Lynx bounced back defeating Central Maine CC in three sets (25-15, 25-17, 25-16). Shannon Armstrong (Alton, NH) led NHTI over the weekend collecting 22 kills, 15 aces and a dig.

 

NHTI Volleyball Defeats Northern Essex CC in Straight Sets (09/18)

Concord, NH – The NHTI Volleyball team won their third-straight match as they defeated Northern Essex CC in three sets (25-13, 25-12, 25-17) on Wednesday. The Lynx had a balance attack as Addie Lacey (Merrimack, NH) and Jailyn Robinson (Manchester, NH) led the team with five kills each. Suhanna Miller (Manchester, NH) added six aces and a pair of kills while Kayla Galipeault (Moultonborough, NH) had four aces and 11 assists.

 

NHTI Volleyball kicks off 2019 winning 2 of 3 Matches on Saturday (09/07)

Paul Smith’s, NY – The NHTI Volleyball team picked up a pair of wins in their first action in 2019. It was also the first two collegiate wins for Head Coach Katie Weijer in her first season at NHTI. In match one the Lynx defeated University of Maine Machias in straight sets (25-19, 25-9, 25-13). In match two NHTI defeated Unity College in a five set match (17-25, 25-22, 25-23, 10-25, 15-9). Finally the Lynx dropped their third match to Paul Smith’s College in three sets. (14-25, 13-25, 22-25). Shannon Armstrong (Alton, N.H.) led NHTI with 27 kills over the three matches. Kayla Galipeault (Moultonboro, N.H.) added a busy day with 11 aces, seven kills, five digs and 52 assists while Addie Lacey (Merrimack, N.H.) contributed double-digit kills with 18.
