Jennifer Fithian is a graduate of Binghamton University (2006 B.S. Financial Economics) in Binghamton, N.Y. where she played four years of Division I basketball from 2002-06.  A two-year captain for the Bearcats, she led Binghamton to the America East semifinals as a senior and was named to the All-Defensive team. Fithian served as the team representative to the BU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. During her first season as the head coach of the NHTI women's basketball team, she led the Lynx to a 15-win season in year one and hopes to continue building the program. 

Fithian also competes internationally in the sport of team handball.  As a member of the USA Women's National Team from 2006-15, she has served as a team captain and competed in the 2011 Pan-Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.  She also played professionally in Germany for TV Mainz from 2009-12.  She took 2013 off to have a beautiful baby girl, Charlotte Mae, and returned to the National Team in the spring of 2014.  In the spring of 2015 she competed in the PATHF Qualifier in Uruguay and the Pan-American Championships in Cuba.

A native of Bow, N.H. and a graduate of Bow High School, the former Fithian was Miss New Hampshire Basketball in 2002. She was a 1100 point, 900 rebound performer for the Falcons. She was an assistant for the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team in 2012-13 and currently resides in Concord, N.H.

Tom Poitras is a graduate of Rivier University in Nashua, N.H. and is joining the NHTI women's basketball program for the 2015-16 season as the head assistant coach. Poitras was a four-year starter for the Raiders, earning New Hampshire DIII and team Rookie of the Year honors his freshman year. He was named Team MVP his final three seasons. All-Conference honors included two Second-Team nominations and a First-Team selection his senior year. He was also named the New Hampshire DIII Player of the Year and set a single season scoring record with 523 points his senior year. He was named Tournament MVP at the Staten Island Tournament for Heroes in 2014. Poitras also took home the Jim Domoracki Award for the 2013-14 season, given to the player who exemplifies dedication to the team, as well as hard work throughout the year. Tom finished his career at Rivier with 1,600 points and 800 rebounds, becoming the first player to eclipse both marks. 
Poitras was also a standout athlete at Bow High School. He was a four-year varsity starter in football and basketball for the Falcons. He was a two-time First-Team All-State selection as well as a two-time Team MVP in both sports. He represented New Hampshire in both the Rotary All-Star Basketball game and the Shrine All-Star Football game his senior year. Known for his unselfish play, Tommy finished his high school career with 948 points and 600 rebounds, narrowly missing joining the rest of the staff in the elite 1000-point, 500-rebound club.
While Tom enjoyed a very successful high school career, he absolutely exploded at Rivier University. He Tom currently works as an account executive for a flooring company and lives in Bow.

Jordan Fithian is a graduate of Emporia State University in Emporia, K.S. (2009 B.S. Accounting).  He played basketball for two years for the Hornets, helping them earn a bid to the National Tournament in 2007 and a top-ten national ranking.  He started his collegiate career at Binghamton University in New York, playing two years of Division I ball before transferring closer to home.

Fithian began playing team handball after college and joined the Men’s National Team in 2009.  He has been the team captain since 2013 and recently competed in the PATHF qualifier.  He is a two-time National Champion with NYAC and was named Elite Division MVP at the 2014 Nationals Tournament.  He also played professionally in Germany from 2009-12, most recently for TV Gelnhausen.

Born and raised in McPherson, K.S., Fithian graduated from McPherson High School as the school's all-time leading scorer.  He was named Mr. Kansas Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year in 2004.  He is also in the 1000 point, 500 rebound club and won two state titles as a goalie for the soccer team.  Fithian currently resides in Concord, N.H. with his wife and daughter, and recently switched careers to join Autajon - Two C Pack as an account executive specializing in packaging consultation.
