Concord, NH – The NHTI Cross Country Team competed in the Yankee Small College Conference Championships on Saturday at NHTI and finished first and third repectfully. The Men’s team which finished first was led by Ethan Dessaint (Woodsville, NH) who finished the 8k second overall at 30:16. Garrison Hiltz (Ashland, NH) finished fourth with a time of 30:37, while Jordin Stone (Brookline, NH) eighth place and Silas Frary (Concord, NH) ninth place finished with times of 32:06 and 32:13. Connor Safstrom (Merrimack, NH) rounded out the scorers in eleventh place with a time of 32:30.For the Women’s team Holly White (Loudon, NH) led the Lynx finishing in twelfth place in the 6k with a time of 31:00. Annie Carr (Hopkinton, NH finished right behind White in thirteenth with a time of 31:20. Rebekah Bartolin (Barnstead, NH), Chelsea Wynne (Concord, NH) 99and Jacqueline Peabody (Londonderry, NH) rounded out the scorers with times of 34:04, 39:44 and 39:51. After the event NHTI Men’s head coach Perry Seagroves was named YSCC Men’s Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year
Concord, NH – On Saturday October 19th the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) will hold their Cross-Country Championships at NHTI. Eighty student-athletes will be competing representing seven schools from the YSCC. The course will be located on the NHTI campus behind Little Hall. The women will be running a 6k starting at 11 am and the men will be running an 8k starting at 11:45 am. The seven schools competing in the championships are Central Maine CC, Hampshire College, Paul Smith’s College, UMaine-Augusta, UMaine-Machias, Vermont Tech and the hosts NHTI.
