NHTI students, faculty, and staff who have successfully completed a CCSNH health screening may visit the Learning Commons Library!

While our building capacity has been reduced in response to the pandemic, we are happy to offer socially-distanced seating, access to print and digital collections, and research and reference support services.

Our building hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Can I visit the library in person?

The majority of the library’s collections can also be accessed online via our website. From there, you can connect to digital magazines, streaming videos, academic journals, eBooks, and virtual reference collections.

Library staff are also available in-person and online to help you navigate, access, and utilize resources. Reach out to us via chat, email, and phone (603-230-4028). We regularly operate our virtual help desk and you can chat with us Monday-Thursday (7:30am-7:00pm), Friday (7:30am-4:00pm), and Sunday (noon-6:00pm).

Can I request an item for curbside pickup?

Yes! After perusing our online catalog, you can request a library item for curbside pickup! To place an item request, please fill out our “request a library item!” form on the right side of this page. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to us via chat, email, or phone (603-230-4028).

How can I get help outside of the library's building hours?

The library has been hard at work bolstering our virtual services, and you can rest assured knowing you have access to the majority of our collections and services online! From ebooks (check out our EBSCO and ProQuest collections) to magazines and newspapers and research guides to streaming videos, the library has your information needs covered.

We also staff a virtual help desk Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12-6 p.m. to assist with research questions, database access, resource retrieval, and more.
