The Program consists of four courses which provide students with programming and systems design skills used in business and industry. Students will use different programming languages while designing databases and creating business front ends.
This program is not Financial Aid eligible.
Graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce in tech support and Quality Assurance roles, and/or to continue their education with programs such as NHTI’s Advanced Software Development Certificate.
Please note: The Entry Level Software Development Certificate is a prerequisite for those students who wish to take the Advanced Software Development Certificate.
There is a growing demand for Software Developers in New Hampshire. In September 2015, the job search site Indeed.com listed over 478 software developers and similar jobs open in the state. National median salaries are $59,141 (salary.com, September 2015). Job growth in this field is projected at 22% in New Hampshire through 2022.
