The NHTI men's and women's basketball teams both lost their final home games to rival Central Maine Community College on Saturday February 15.
The women fell to SMCC by a score of 83-53. Pacing the Lynx were Allura LeBlanc (Northwood) with 18 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks, Sara Romano (Lebanon) with 11 points and six assists, and Anay Leek (Manchester) with eight points. The women now stand at 12-16 on the season.
The men’s team was topped by CMCC 100-92. The top performers for the Lynx were Jordon Richard (Raymond) with 22 points and six rebounds, Dorea Wilson (Detroit, MI) with 20 points and seven boards, Curtis Williams (Newmarket) with 13 points, Demetrious Rouse (Detroit, MI) with 12 points and 12 boards, and Ethan Rutledge (Curacao) with 14 points and six rebounds. The men now stand at 13-16.
Both teams will now go to the YSCC Championship tournament at Southern Maine CC in South Portland February 21-23.
