Nancy Brubaker, N.R.P., RN, CEN, MEd.
Nancy Brubaker, Paramedic Emergency Medicine Program Director/Professor holds a Master’s Degree in Education, an A.S. in EMS (1984) from NHTI, and an A.S. in Nursing (1994). She has been a Paramedic and Nurse for thirty years. Nancy has worked for Speare Hosipital ER (30 years), the Plymouth Fire Department (15 years), Concord Hospital ER (5 years), and most recently as school nurse at Proctor Academy (2 years). Areas of Expertise: Coordinator for both hospital and field clinicals.
Keith Wilding, M.A.T., N.R.P.
Keith Wilding is the Lead Instructor for the Paramedic Emergency Medicine Program. He holds a B.A. in Biology (1993) and Masters of Arts in Teaching/Science Education (1994), both from Boston University. After four years of teaching high school science in Easton, Massachusetts, Keith entered Emergency Medicine as an EMT for Cataldo Ambulance. After graduating from Northeastern University's Institute for EMS (1999) Keith began working as a full-time Paramedic and Field Training Officer for Fallon Ambulance. Keith worked as Adjunct Faculty from September 2010 until January 2013 when he moved into this full-time position within the program. Keith continues to work part-time as a Paramedic for Fallon Ambulance. Areas of Expertise: Trauma & Medical Emergencies, Special Populations, Laboratory instruction, and Coordinator for both hospital & field clinicals. Keith is also an instructor for ACLS and PALS.
Dr. Patrick Lanzetta, M.D., FACEP
Patrick Lanzetta serves as the program's Medical Director. A graduate of St. John's University of New York, Dr. Lanzetta earned his medical doctor degree from the University of Montpelier in France in 1973. A lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve, Dr. Lanzetta has assisted with field medic training since 1986. Dr. Lanzetta, who is board-certified as an emergency department physician, is presently affiliated with Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H.
Eliot J. Berman, B.S., N.R.P.
Eliot Berman received an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 1992, and a B.S. in Soil Science from UNH Durham in 1994. In 2012, he graduated from NHTI with an Associate’s Degree in Paramedic Emergency Medicine. Eliot has been with the Bow Fire Department since 2002 and is currently a full time firefighter / paramedic. He is also a paramedic for the Central NH Special Operations Unit (SWAT team). Eliot spent over 6 years as an Emergency Room Technician at Concord Hospital, Concord NH, and was a per diem Paramedic for Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. Areas of Expertise: Hospital clinic supervisor.
Seth Chidester, A.S., N.R.P.
In 2007, Seth Chidester started working in Emergency Medical Services as an EMT-B, and his life-long goal of obtaining his Paramedic certification was realized through NHTI in 2011. Seth currently works for a hospital-based ALS service in Lowell, MA and is continuing his education towards a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services Administration. Seth started working as adjunct faculty with NHTI in January, 2014. Areas of Expertise: Laboratory instructor, Field Preceptor, Hospital clinic supervisor.
David Franklin, A.S., MA EMT-P
Dave Franklin graduated from NHTI in 1994 with an Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services. For the past 15 years has worked at Cataldo Ambulance in Massachusetts, working on the busiest emergency units. Over the years at Cataldo, he has been involved in the precepting of paramedic students and new employees. He has worked with the Clinical Education Department providing training for their employees as well as many of the fire departments in the area. Dave is currently working as a clinical field supervisor for the service which is responsible for overseeing all operations in the busiest division which covers six cities. Areas of Expertise: Cardiology & 12-Lead interpretation, Field Operations, Special Populations and Integration labs. David is also an instructor for ACLS and PALS.
Marlene Hillman, B.S., N.R.P..
Marlene Hillman began in EMS as a Medical Explorer (coed branch of the Boy Scouts), riding with a local ambulance service. She became an EMT in 1978 to pay her way through college. She graduated from UMass Amherst in 1981, with a B.S. in Education. Following a year of substitute teaching and working BLS, Marlene went back to school and earned an A.S. in Paramedicine at NHTI. Since becoming a paramedic she has worked for two of the best hospital based services in MA, Emerson & Lowell General, as well as teaching at NHTI. She is also Affiliate Faculty for ITLS, an AHA BLS & PALS Instructor, and a Massachusetts EMT Instructor/Coordinator. Areas of Expertise: Special Populations, Paramedic Procedures, Integration labs, Field Preceptor, and Hospital clinic supervisor.
Michael Kennard, A.S., N.R.P.
Michael Kennard has been active in EMS for over thirty five years, starting as a first responder, then achieving the Paramedic level, graduating from NHTI in 1997. Mike has been working in hospital based EMS for twenty years and currently is an emergency room paramedic. Mike also works for the NH Bureau of EMS as a Program Coordinator doing adult and pediatric simulations. He also presents at the Mt. Sunapee and North Country EMS conferences, and contributes to EMS World magazine and emsworld.com. Areas of Expertise: Special Populations and Paramedic Procedures labs.
Stephen Lorenze, B.A., N.R.P.
Stephen Lorenze graduated from NHTI in 2001 with an Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services. Stephen has worked for Concord Fire Department since 1996 as a firefighter/paramedic. He is assigned to the busiest ambulance, and has been a preceptor to a number of students. Stephen also owns his own a business that provides medical education of all types in the public sector. Stephen joined the NHTI team in 2008. Areas of Expertise: Trauma and Procedures labs as well as Field Preceptor and Hospital clinic supervisor.
Jean Richardson, B.S., M.S.N.
Jean Richardson received a B.S. in Nursing and a B.S. in Vocational Education from UNH in 1995. In 1999, she graduated from the University of Texas with her A.R.N.P., specializing in emergency medicine. She has worked as an EMT-RN and currently works as an ER-ARNP at Speare Hospital in Plymouth, NH. Areas of Expertise: Physical Assessment, Pharmacology, and Integration lab instructor.
