The Zonta JMK Women In Business Scholarship Program is designed to encourage women to enter careers and to seek leadership positions in business-related fields in their communities and throughout the world. Any New Hampshire woman undertaking a business and/or business-related program leading to a business management career at an accredited university/college/institute, in at least their second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program at the time the application is submitted, is eligible to apply. Priority will be given to applicants whose permanent legal residence is in Merrimack County, NH.
The recipient of the Zonta Club of Concord’s $1,000 award will be eligible to compete at the Zonta District 1 level for an additional $1,000 award. The successful Zonta District 1 recipient will qualify to compete for one of 12 international scholarships of $7,000 each. This scholarship is available to one woman (must be a New Hampshire resident) who is working toward completing a program or degree that will help her learn a new skill, or return to or advance in a job. One scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded and will be paid to the educational agency where the student is enrolled.
The deadline for the Hollis Woman’s Club Alternative Scholarship is April 1, 2016. Scholarship applicants will be notified by May 6, 2016 regarding the status of the application.

The NH Electric Co-op Foundation will be offering six $1500 scholarships, one of which is reserved for a student attending a vocational/technical institution. Applicant must be a member of the Co-op, or be residing with a parent or legal guardian who is a member. The NHHEAF Network Organizations' College Equals Opportunity (CEO) Scholarship Program provides significant scholarship dollars to deserving college students who demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, academic talent and financial need. Since inception, $320,000 has been awarded in scholarship to college students from New Hampshire.
The program recognizes current college sophomores and juniors with $2,500 scholarships. Since its inception in 2005, the CEO Scholarship Program has awarded $320,000 to deserving NH college students.
Applications for this scholarship are now being accepted, and are due April 22, 2016. Students may apply on the NHHEAF website
When you apply for and are awarded a scholarship from our scholarship fund you receive philanthropic dollars to support your pursuit of a career in the nursing or allied healthcare professions. Multiple scholarships are available to deserving students pursuing careers primarily in nursing and, on a limited basis, to students pursuing careers in various qualifying fields of allied health care. Scholarship awards typically range from $1,000 - $3,000. Award recipients are notified by mid June. Applications must be submitted and received no later than April 29, 2016. The Granite State Chapter #218 of the National Association of Women in Construction will be accepting applications for our annual scholarship of $1000. Requirements for this scholarship are as follows:
- NH resident entering final year of program in a 2-yr school
- GPA of C or better, with Official Transcript
- Majoring in a construction related field, i.e. engineering, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general construction, etc.
- An essay of approximately 150 words stating why student has chosen the construction industry for their career. (No other application form is required.)

The Alice M. Yarnold and Samuel Yarnold Scholarship Trust offers $1000 - $5000 per year in scholarships for students interested in nursing, medicine, social work or other related areas of post-secondary education.
- Applicants must be New Hampshire residents who are already in the process of post-secondary education.
- Individuals must demonstrate financial need and scholastic excellence.
Applications must be submitted by May 19, 2016. Applications are available in the NHTI Financial Aid Office.
Two students who are in good academic standing and attending a U.S. college or university will each receive a $1,000 scholarship from SeniorHomes.com for use in paying tuition and/or books.
Complete and submit the application form by 11:59 p.m. PDT on June 30, 2016. Judging will be based on the following criteria, that include, but are not limited to:
- Submission quality (inspiring, extraordinary, or otherwise compelling);
- Impact the scholarship will make on the life of the student and the person they care for;
- Whether the applicant has addressed the application questions and satisfied the application guidelines.
