Discover Office 365

Due to a recent upgrade, all NHTI students can now access the Office 365 Education Plus for Students package.  This package includes:

  • Office Online
  • SharePoint Online
  • Exchange Online
  • Skype for Business
  • Office 365 ProPlus (Full Version of Office)

In the past, students have had access to the first 4 features, but the new Office 365 ProPlus feature now gives students the ability to download, install and activate a copy of Microsoft Office on their personal machine using their CCSNH Student Account.

To do this, log into Office 365 by going to http://o365.students.ccsnh.edu. Then click on Office 365 right near the application launcher at the top right hand side of the screen.

Play Ball for Seth!

NHTI's Annual Charity Wiffle Ball Tournament!
Saturday, September 19
Quad & Wellness Center Gym
9 am - 4 pm

Seth PeakeThis annual event benefits a local child facing medical challenges.  Seth is a ten year old boy who has struggled with hemophilia since he was born.  Hemophilia is a genetically inherited bleeding disorder that impairs the body’s ability to control blood clotting,

Funds are raised by team registration fees and a silent auction held during the tournament.  (The registration fee is $100 from the team members, matched by $100 from a business sponsor.)  Open to the public; admission by donation.  Contact the Office of Student Life at 603-230-4045 or nhtistudentlife@ccsnh.edu.

Dental Clinic Parking

No Parking iconJust a friendly reminder that the NHTI Dental Clinic has started seeing patients.  Please do not park in the spots marked for dental patient parking.  These spots are located alongside Little Hall, across from MacRury.

As you know, many of our patients are elderly so we want to ensure that they are parked as close as possible to the clinic.  Even though they are receiving dental care at a reduced cost through us, without them, our students would not be able to hone their skills as quickly as they do.  Patients who use the clinic are provided with a parking permit that they hang in their rear view mirror.  If we do not see the permit we will be ticketing vehicles.

This Month in the Library Gallery

In September, the NHTI Library Gallery features the Granite State Landscape Architects Traveling Showcase for 2015.  This exhibit highlights award-winning examples of designs that meld architectural artistry with the natural features of the surrounding countryside (below left).

Also on display are a series of paintings by local artist (and NHTI Visual Arts student) Robin Sandford Lamson (below right).

Finally, visitors are invited to participate in the Great Library Cat Contest!  Can you match photos of the librarians' cats with their owners?  Give it a try!
