Win a Kayak from SADHA!

kayakRumor has it that Spring is coming!  OK, maybe Mother Nature is still toying with us, but when it comes you know you want to be prepared.  You can be begin by purchasing raffle tickets to win a “Perception Impulse 10” Kayak (with paddle!) from SADHA, the Student Dental Hygienists Association.  (Actual prize pictured at right.)

Tickets are $3 for 1 and $10 for 4, and are available from any Dental Hygiene student or Donna Gleeson in MacRury Hall Room 142.  The drawing will be held on May 1, 2015. The winner will be notified by telephone.

A very special thanks goes out to Contoocook River Canoe Co., LLC for providing the kayak, and to Denutte’s Delights for providing the professional raffle tickets for this fundraising event!

Spring Art Classes

This month, NHTI offers the last in its series of 4-week art classes in partnership with GoodLife Programs and Activities.  The cost for this intensive, hands-on class is only $100, plus materials.

    Tuesdays, April 21 – May 12, 1-3 pm

Celebrate the return of Spring by creating sculptures that can add color and delight to your early garden and patio.  Participants will use forms from an extruder as well as slab, pinch, and coil techniques to create fun items suitable for outdoor display. From beginner to advanced!

Relay for Life logoThe American Cancer Society's Relay for Life for Cancer Research

Relay for Life is a large fundraising event that is held here at NHTI on June 6, 2015.  Hundreds of participants will be here to walk around the quad and raise funds for cancer research!
