Tendler Leads NHTI to 2016 Dell Cup
The 23rd Annual Nashua Soup Kitchen 5K Road Race was held in Nashua on April 10. There is a team category, and the winning team is awarded the “Dell Cup.”
The NHTI Running Club sent a team, and was the fastest of the 16 teams that competed. The NHTI team was led by Chaim Tendler who was the second overall finisher out of 322 runners competing, with a time of 18:42. The other NHTI team members were Perry Seagroves (9th at 22:22), Tom Walton (10th at 22:26), and Mitchell Deneault (11th at 22:31).

The next race for the NHTI Running Club will be the 12th Annual NHTI/Delta Dental 5K on April 22 at 6 pm. For more details about either the race or the NHTI Running Club, contact Perry Seagroves, firstname.lastname@example.org.
The NHTI Maintenance Department is hiring full-time, temporary summer staff in four areas:

Softball Team Undefeated
As if that weren't enough, last Saturday April 9, NHTI pitching ace Tori Lemay (above) threw a perfect game against the UNH Club team!
The NH Crime Victims’ Rights Celebration was held April 10–11 at St. Paul’s Church in Concord to pay tribute to all those who have died or been traumatized by violent crime. The event was reported by local newspapers and also WMUR Channel 9 news. The Press Conference held on Monday April 11 featured Governor Maggie Hassan, Attorney General Joseph Foster and U.S. Attorney Emily Rice.
There was a ribbon cutting to open the 2016 NH Clothesline Project which honors survivors of sexual and domestic violence and stalking. The T-shirts made at NHTI during the past two weeks were part of this NH Clothesline Project display.

The Student American Dental Hygienists Association (SADHA) at NHTI will once again be raffling off a brand new kayak this spring, thanks to the generosity of Contoocook River Canoe Company, LLC -- just in time to enjoy a paddle on one of the state's beautiful waterways!
This year's prize is a Perception Impulse 10 Kayak which includes a paddle. Suggested donation for 1 ticket is $3, or $10 for 4 tickets. Tickets are available from Donna Gleeson in the Dental Office, MacRury 142.
The drawing will be held on May 6th at 8:00 am in M 142. The odds of winning this sharp looking kayak are really good -- so come on over and support SADHA!
