The Student American Dental Hygienists Association (SADHA) at NHTI will once again be raffling off a brand new kayak this spring, thanks to the generosity of Contoocook River Canoe Company, LLC -- just in time to enjoy a paddle on one of the state's beautiful waterways!
This year's prize is a Perception Impulse 10 Kayak which includes a paddle. Suggested donation for 1 ticket is $3, or $10 for 4 tickets. Tickets are available from Donna Gleeson in the Dental Office, MacRury 142.
The drawing will be held on May 6th at 8:00 am in M 142. The odds of winning this sharp looking kayak are really good -- so come on over and support SADHA!
The Space Apps Challenge?
The International Space Apps Challenge is an international mass collaboration focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours in cities around the world. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. This year we have over 25 challenges in four areas: Earth, Outer Space, Humans and Robotics. NASA is leading this global collaboration along with a number of government collaborators and over 100 local organizing teams across the globe.
Anyone can participate in the International Space Apps Challenge. It requires individuals with a broad range of skills. We are looking for engineers, technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, students, entrepreneurs – anyone who has a passion for changing the world and is willing to contribute. Most people form a team and compete that way. There are prizes including tickets to see a NASA launch!
The Durham, NH location is being hosted by Caleigh MacPherson, firstname.lastname@example.org, at the UNH InterOperability Laboratory on April 23-24, 2016. Please like us on Facebook at facebook.com/SpaceAppsDurham and follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/SpaceAppsDurham for daily updates!
