To Honor and Remember
On Thursday November 7, the NHTI Veterans Club sponsored a Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony in Sweeney Auditorium, with a theme of "Women in Service." Featured speakers included club president Steve Kazakis (above), NHTI president Lynn Kilchenstein, NH Director of Veteran Services Mary Morin, and MIT Army ROTC Scholarship Officer Lt. Col. Deidre Perrin.
A color guard, live music, and a rousing rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" by NHTI faculty member Joe Heise rounded out the festivities.
Spirit Contest Winner!
Congratulations to the Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Club, the winners of the 5th Annual NHTI Spirit Competition!
It was a tight competition with Central Ray coming in a close second, but ASB’s display in the Student Center (part of which is shown above) put them over the top. The 1st place winner, determined by your votes, will receive $100 in their club/org account, and the 2nd place runners-up will receive $50.
Thank you to this year’s participating clubs and organizations: ASB, CAB, PTK, Alliance, Central Ray, Orthoblast, and SADHA.
Thank you to Ben Breault for his help, and to Student Senate for once again sponsoring this fun event!
NHTI's Radiologic Technology majors hosted an exhibit in the Rotunda last week in honor of International Radiologic Technology Week. Rad Tech Week is held every year to celebrate the discovery of x-rays on November 8, 1895.
