On Tuesday November 6, the NHTI Veterans Club sponsored a Remembrance Ceremony in anticipation of Veterans Day. (The college was closed for the actual holiday on November 11.)
The ceremony featured brief welcoming statements by club president John Godfrey, VP of Student Affairs Steve Caccia, and NH Director of Veteran Services Mary Morin. Major General William N. Reddel III offered the keynote speech.

Also on Tuesday, the Veterans Club sponsored a Resource Fair, with at least 10 veterans organizations on hand to answer questions for student veterans and their family members, dependents, etc.
Earlier in the month, the club sponsored a well-attended appearance by Andrew O'Brien (left), an Iraq War veteran and PTSD survivor who now focuses on reintegrating soldiers into society. He spoke about PTSD, military suicide prevention, and integrating veterans into the workplace.
On Wednesday November 12, the BioBus came rolling onto campus, courtesy of the Envionmental Action Club!
The BioBus is a sort of mobile ecological classroom, where passersby can hop on board an learn all sorts of neat lessons about keeping the planet clean and green.

The NHTI Campus Safety Department wants to remind all commuters, faculty, staff, and visitors: if you intend to leave your vehicle on campus overnight you must notify Campus Safety at 230-4042. If you wish to leave your car due to a weather-related event, the Campus Safety Department will also make you aware of where to park your vehicle so nothing happens to it!
