NHTI Is Turning 50!

50th FashionIt's hard to believe we've been around for half a century, but NHTI will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in the fall of 2015!  Whether you are a student, alum, or current or former faculty/staff, there are a number of ways you can participate.

  • Share your stories, photos and memories at
  • Share your story on video at NHTI (dates TBA)
  • Save the Date: Saturday Oct 3, 2015 for celebratory events, including alumni sports challenges and a 50th Anniversary Dinner.

Meanwhile, be sure to load up on official NHTI 50th Anniversary gear!  We have t-shirts in maroon or grey ($12), stylin' grey beanies ($10), and nifty mugs ($6), all with the official 50th Anniversary logo.  Get yours while supplies last!

Summer Art Classes

Always wanted to take an art class, but never had the time (or the cash)?  Now's your chance!

batik dragonflyThis summer, NHTI will offer a series of 4-week art classes in partnership with GoodLIfe Programs and Activities.  The cost for each intensive, hands-on class is only $100, plus materials.  These are non-credit classes.  Topics and schedule are as follows:

  • Birdbaths, Pots and Whimsical Garden Sculpture with Annie Campbell, June 5-26, Thursdays, 1-3 pm
  • Introduction to Watercolor with Sara Ellis, June 3-24, Tuesdays, 1-3 pm
  • Batik Dyeing with Cheri Dalphonse, July 10-31, Thursdays, 1-3 pm
  • Introduction to Acrylics and Impressionist Painting with Sara Ellis, August 5-26, Tuesdays, 1-3 pm

5th Annual NH Law Enforcement Memorial Motorcycle Ride

Saturday June 28 (rain date June 29)
Registration: 8:00 - 9:30 am
Kickstands Up: 9:45 am
Cookout: 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Registration Fee: $25/bike, payable at the ride.
No charge for passengers.

The purpose of this ride is to raise funds for the maintenance and upkeep of the New Hampshire Law Enforcement Memorial in Concord.  Over the last 4 years the riders at this event have donated $5,000 to the Memorial.  Co-sponsored by the NHTI Criminal Justice Club and the Granite State Chapter of the Nam Knights of America MC.
