Congratulations, CFDC!

Congratulations to NHTI's Child & Family Development Center (CFDC) for again achieving NAEYC (National Organization for the Education of Young Children) accreditation for another 5-year term!  The CFDC is one of only 56 accredited programs in the state of NH out of approximately 1200 licensed programs.  CFDC passed this rigorous assessment with a rating of 97%.

Michael ShawverThe fund was established by Ruth Pearson in 1993 in memory of her husband Leon, "one of the fathers of landscaping in New Hampshire."  Originally limited to landscaping students attending the Thompson School at UNH or the Stockbridge School at U-Mass, the trustees only recently expanded their criteria to include students from NHTI.
