From Thursday thru Sunday, February 19-22, NHTI hosted the YSCC Elite 8 Men's and Women's Basketball Playoffs, featuring the top eight teams in the Yankee Small College Conference.  Unfortunately, both the men's and women's Lynx teams were eliminated in the first round of play, and failed to advance to the higher brackets.

In game number three of the women's quarter-finals, U-Maine Augusta jumped out early to a 41-22 halftime lead, and held on to defeat NHTI 72-46.  UMA’s Jamie Plummer scored 36 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the way for the Moose.  Kylie Kemp also scored 13 points for the Moose in the win.  NHTI was led by Danielle Kimball (Derry) and Haley Jakubens (Gilmanton), each scoring 11 points, with Allura Leblanc (Northwood) chipping in with 10 points.

In recognition of his contributions throughout the season, Yordy Tavarez was named to the Men's All-Conference First Team.  Ethan Rutledge was named to the Men's All-Conference Second Team, and Allura Leblanc was named to the Women's All-Conference Second Team.  Congratulations to these fine players!
