CJ Club Presents FBI Agent/Author
Tuesday, November 24
12:00 - 2:00 pm
Concord Orthopaedics Auditorium (G 106)
The Criminal Justice Club is happy to announce that on Tuesday, Nov. 25, author and Special Agent Michael De la Pena of the FBI will be on campus to speak. Special Agent De la Pena has been with the FBI for 25 years, and he is currently assigned to the Boston office. He is a certified FBI polygraph examiner, and has conducted more than 2,000 exams. He is also an FBI Hostage Negotiator. Special Agent De la Pena is a graduate of George Washington University with a degree in Political Science.
Michael’s first novel, The Coyote Wars, involves a domestic terrorist plot to infiltrate key government agencies in preparation for an assault on the United States. The main character, Boston-based FBI polygraph expert Carlos Sullivan, suspects that a rookie agent is not who he claims to be. Sullivan and his team begin a search for the truth, which leads to a cat and mouse game. Will the imposters be exposed before it’s too late?
