NHTI's Child and Family Development Center Studies the Pennacook

Marty Hunt, the department head of NHTI’s business department, gave our preschoolers T-Shirts that celebrate one of the Abenaki tribes, the Pennacook.

While gazing at the Merrimack River, the children talked about the life-ways of the Pennacook Indians, such as traveling by canoe and living in a wigwam.
