Poet Laureate Coming to NHTI

Alice FogelNHTI proudly presents its 13th Annual Celebration of Poetry, featuring New Hampshire Poet Laureate Alice B. Fogel.  There will be a reception and open mic reading following her presentation.  Members of the college and the community are invited to listen and participate.  Admission is free. 

Alice Fogel’s third collection, Be That Empty, was a national poetry bestseller.  She is also the author of Strange Terrain, a guide for appreciating poetry without having to “get” it.  A six-time Pushcart nominee and recipient of an NEA fellowship, her poems appear in Best American Poetry, Poet’s Choice, Spillway, Hotel Amerika, Crazyhorse, and elsewhere.
