The primary mission of the NHTI Campus Safety Department is to provide exceptional service for a safe learning environment with the cooperation of the college community and external agencies based on the values of fairness, integrity and respect.

About The Department

The Campus Safety Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Officers conduct vehicle and foot patrols on campus. Campus Safety officers do not make arrests, however, Campus Safety works closely with the New Hampshire State Police and the Concord Police Department. Daily crime and fire logs are maintained and available to anyone at any time upon request in the Campus Safety office.

Further information on safety and security is provided to students and employees through posters, brochures, the weekly newsletter and residence hall meetings. These are some of the programs that will be provided throughout the year: active shooter response, bystander intervention, defensive driving, CPR AED, alcohol and drug awareness, and other educational programming.
