Through the presentation of topics ranging from reading and study strategies to stress and time management, students become better equipped to adjust to the American college experience and increase their chances of academic success. Group discussion and periodic individualized conferencing are also key elements of the course. This course fulfills the GST 100C course requirement for all General Studies and Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts majors. This course may not be taken as an elective to meet graduation requirements. (Prerequisite: ESOL 201C or permission of the director of cross-cultural education)
