Introduces students to desktop PC applications with an emphasis on Microsoft Office. Topics will include use of an operating system, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and internet browsers and may include other computer-related discussions and/or assignments. These accelerated sections include 100% online, hybrid, 8-week, 1-hour, and 1-week intensive courses. Some sections will require that students purchase Microsoft Office to complete work off campus. It is recommended that students have a minimum score of 50 on the LASSI motivation placement test. Students may not receive credit for this course, IST 102C, and IST 102XC.
