Includes the pathophysiology and management of medical emergencies in all body systems. Critical thinking and problem solving will be emphasized using a scenario-based approach. (Prerequisites: all fall PEM courses; co-requisites: PEM 111C, PEM 126C, and PEM 244C) Any failure in this course, PEM 126C, PEM 244C will trigger a failure in PEM 162C (even if a passing grade in PEM 162C has been achieved).
