Leadership is a key cornerstone for a successful recreation, parks, and leisure program. Students will learn the basic concepts, principles, character, techniques, strategies, and problems of leading in the recreation setting. Understanding the common roles of leaders is addressed and students will review effective leadership practices. Students will apply their leadership skill in an organized group setting.
