Summer 2014 Art Classes

CONCORD — This summer, NHTI, Concord’s Community College will offer a series of 4-week art classes in partnership with GoodLIfe Programs and Activities.  The cost for each intensive, hands-on class is only $100, plus materials.  These are non-credit classes.  Topics and schedule are as follows:

Spring 2014 Dean's List

Concord – The following students have been named to the Dean's List at NHTI, Concord's Community College, in recognition of their academic achievement during the Spring 2014 term. In order to qualify for Dean's List a student must be considered full time (registered for 12 credits or more) and have a term GPA of 3.3 or higher.

NHTI Graduates 600+

CONCORD — At 10:00 am on Friday May 23rd, NHTI held its 64th Annual Commencement Exercises on the lawn behind Little Hall.  The college offers 66 associate degree, certificate and diploma programs to more than 4,500 students annually.  This year, NHTI awarded a record 614 associate degrees, including nearly 60 each in criminal justice and nursing, and over 75 degrees in general studies.  This year’s class also included 29 veterans, and over 100 graduates in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math).

New President Named for NHTI, Concord’s Community College

Concord, NH -  The board of trustees of the Community College System of New Hampshire has appointed Susan B. Dunton, Ph.D. to be the next president of NHTI, Concord’s Community College.  Dunton was selected as a finalist by a search committee comprised of college, system and community members, chaired by trustee Jeremy Hitchcock, CEO of Dyn, Inc., a Manchester-based technology company, and Susan Huard, president of Manchester Community College.  Dunton was recommended to the board by CCSNH Chancellor Ross Gittell.
