CLERY ACT COMPLIANCE STATEMENT

Campus Safety's Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available by October 1st of each year. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on‐campus; in certain off‐campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the NHTI, Concord’s Community College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes College policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault and other matters.

Adjunct Instructor Positions

NHTI has the following adjunct instructors positions that may need to be filled on an ongoing basis. Please note, The Community College System of New Hampshire requires that all applicants complete a CCSNH Employment Application.  Application is necessary for all tutor and workshop/instructors positions. Computer Engineering Technology Department

Business & Industry Training Instructors Needed

The Business Training Center, through the Office of Workforce Development, delivers short-term training focused on standard business applications, finance, customer relationships, management development and technical skills.

  • Green Building & Sustainable Design Instructor: The Business Training Center at NHTI is actively seeking a part-time instructor to teach short-term intensive professional development courses. Industry experience in energy modeling, LEED, resource and building management desired. Teaching experience preferred. Candidate will have significant training experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Manufacturing Processes Instructor: The Business Training Center is actively seeking part-time instructors/trainers to deliver manufacturing-related courses. Significant industry and training experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Instructor: The Business Training Center at NHTI is seeking an instructor to teach a basic course in Microsoft SharePoint. Teaching and industry experience preferred. Program and curriculum development experience is a plus.
  • Project Management Instructor: The Business Training Center is actively seeking a part-time instructor to teach a non-credit Project Management class. MS Project experience, teaching and industry experience preferred. Program and curriculum development experience is a plus.
  • Presentation Skills Instructor: The Business Training Center is actively seeking a part-time instructor to teach a course on effective presentation skills. Ideal candidates will have significant industry and training experience. Curriculum development experience a plus.

Anticipated Tutor Vacancies

Tutor appointments are generally for one semester, as needed.  Tutors may support students with various subjects or only one discipline.  Rate of pay depends on qualifications and experience of candidate.  For additional tutor vacancies, please contact the Learning Center, 603.230.4027.

BIOLOGY OPEN LAB TUTORS - Open Lab tutors are study guides. Most open lab students seeking tutoring will be Human Anatomy and Physiology students.  Open Labs are two hour drop-in study sessions that meet five times a week. The schedule depends on the availability of tutors; a tutor may cover one or more sessions in a week.

Minimum requirements:  Successful candidates will be familiar with multiple study strategies and learning styles, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Intro to Biology, and Intro to Chemistry. Teaching experience is preferred.
