Hands-On! - Hybrid Format

With online and hands-on components, this course prepares dental assistants to perform a preliminary oral inspection on patients and includes taking medical/dental histories, obtaining/reading vital signs, basic oral anatomy and terminology, and dental charting. Participants must complete assignments online prior to clinical portion. (Course not required for dental assistant graduates from ADA accredited programs; course not appropriate for RDH.)

Dates:  Online portion:    September 1 to 16, 2017 
             Clinical portion:  Saturday, September 16, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm 
             Online portion:    September 29 to October 14, 2017 
             Clinical portion:  Saturday,  October 14, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

OL This course will have an on-line component. Students are required to have a personal email address (not the office email address), internet access, a computer, and possess basic computer skills.
