We are always here to help you adjust, support your journey, lend a listening ear to anything you have going on, and have a great time doing it all. Get to know the director, head RA, and floor RA for our three residence halls – Langley, Strout, and South:
Langley Hall Staff
Eric Benn is the assistant director of residence life and the residence hall director for Langley Hall. He has worked at NHTI since the fall of 2013 and is involved in many aspects of the institution. Eric has a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus in media studies from Plymouth State University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
Eric is the co-advisor to the Campus Activities Board, which focuses on programming and entertainment for the campus community, and is part of the executive board for the Northeast Association for College and University Housing Officers.
Eric is an avid movie buff, specifically in the Marvel cinematic universe, and enjoys traveling with loved ones and doing activities around New Hampshire.
Dominic Knox is the head RA. He’s been an RA for 5+ semesters at NHTI. He earned his associate degree in criminal justice and is working toward a degree in terrorism and homeland security at SNHU. His hobbies include going to the gym and watching football or Bradley Martyn YouTube videos. He is located in room 211.
Bryan Anziani is originally from Nashua and played played football for Nashua High South. He’s a liberal arts major and dreams of helping troubled teens get on the right path. He has two pitbulls, Hazel and Juice, and is one of seven kids.
Kayla Galipeault grew up in Moultonborough. She is enrolled in the business program and is working on getting her real estate license. She plays on the Lynx volleyball team, and also enjoys skiing, fishing, and being with family and friends. She lives in room 223.
Mary Grzanna, from Sunapee, is working toward her health science associate degree at NHTI, with plans to pursue a masters in occupational therapy. She plays soccer and basketball and enjoys skiing, hanging out with friends, watching sports, hiking, longboarding, and watching sunsets. She is in room 231.
Maura Hart has been an NHTI RA for 2+ years. She earned a degree in criminal justice and is taking transfer credits. She plays soccer for NHTI. She loves Chipotle, sleeping, and her friends. She is in Lower C-Wing 152s.
Eric Mills, from Plaistow, is in his third year at NHTI working towards an industrial design major. He enjoys lifting, watching hockey, playing hockey, eating, and playing guitar. He is in room 129.
Sean Struzik is a third-year computer engineering technology at NHTI. He’s a self-proclaimed “quiet person,” but encourages visitors to his room 244s. He enjoys video games, playing sports, hiking, fixing problems (anything), and eating food.
Madi Young is originally from central Massachusetts and graduated from Hudson High School in 2014. She is a liberal arts major, with plans to pursue a degree in school counseling. She enjoys caramel swirl iced coffee, country music, grilled shrimp, “Matilda,” and her 12 summers at Pleasant Valley YMCA Overnight Camp. She is in room 216.
Strout Hall Staff
Colby Chaput is the residence director of Strout Hall. Originally from Swanzey, he graduated from SNHU with a bachelor’s degree in justice studies. He is pursuing his master’s degree in higher education administration. He lives on campus year-round in Strout Hall with his girlfriend, Caroline, and cat, Winston.
He enjoys being adventurous by hiking, snorkeling, climbing, and eating crazy things. He also enjoys cooking and exploring different flavors in the kitchen. His office is located right off of the Family Room.
Martin Higgins, from Bedford, is finishing his criminal justice degree. He’s originally from Waltham, Mass., has visited more than 30 states, and can “bark like a dog.” His favorite things include coffee runs Dunkin’ Donuts, playing ice and street hockey, and listening to music. He’s in room 223.
Jon Demers, from Berlin, is pursuing a sports management degree with hopes to be a coach, scout, or athletic director. He enjoys playing sports and plays baseball for NHTI.
Emily Gerade is enrolled in the general studies program and working to become an ultrasound technician. SHe loves dogs, photography, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite TV show is “Friends.” She is in room 307.
Brycen Hill is in his third year studying criminal justice with a special interest in homeland security. He lives in North Conway and enjoys going to the lake, hitting the gym, listening to music and playing video games. He is in room 124.
Desire Upton, from Litchfield, is in her third year at NHTI and majoring in business with a potential transfer to Plymouth State University to finish her degree. She loves to cook and participate in outdoors activities. Her favorite color is white.
South Hall Staff
Garrett Highland is the residence director for South Hall. Originally from southern California, he also spent a few years in Oklahoma before deciding work in residence life at NHTI.
He enjoys playing videogames, exploring New England, and playing with his cat, Doralee. His office is located near the front entrance of South.
Meghan Donahue is the head RA in South. Originally from Hudson, she just graduated with her degree in business administration. This is her seventh semester as an RA and third as a head RA. She is a Dunkin’ addict (cold brew mocha cream); her favorite colors are yellow and orange; and she loves spontaneous trips and dogs.
Dan Campbell is studying business administration and plans to go into sales before owning his own business. This is his fourth semester as an RA and third year at NHTI. He enjoys cooking, reading, watching new shows, and discovering new music. He is part of the Campus Activities Board and the Alternative Spring Break Club.
Preston Collette is a computer engineering major and plans to study computer science at UNH after NHTI. He enjoys reading, basketball, music, and gaming. He is in room 205.
Kat Jacques is a second-year liberal arts major and “among the many that haven’t found their passion quite yet.” Her favorite things include Netflix, blueberries, making friendship bracelets, playing Minecraft, and dying her hair fun colors.
Lorelle Ouellette, from Fremont, is studying business administration. She loves trips to the beach, “Friends,”coffee, and quality time with family and friends.
