NHTI Men’s Basketball: Go Lynx!
The NHTI men’s basketball program is a top program in the USCAA and regularly sits atop of the YSCC. In the 2019-20 season, the Lynx captured our second USCAA Division 2 National Championship by defeating Penn State Greater Allegheny by a 74-70 final. The other USCAA National Championship came in 2004-2005, where the NHTI Lynx captured the first ever national championship in basketball in the state of New Hampshire.
The Lynx continue to be successful in YSCC Conference play; we have won the YSCC Tournament in 2018, 2019, and 2020 and have held the regular season championship title for the past four seasons.

Harris had an amazing season in 2012/2013, where he was voted USCAA First Team All-American, and YSCC First Team All-Conference player. His leadership was unparalleled as was his dedication to the NHTI basketball program. Closing out his playing career in 2013 at NHTI, Ahntwan became a 1000 point scorer. Harris also received the NHTI William O’Clair Award as the Outstanding Male Athlete at the college.
As an assistant coach, Ahntwan is certain to add that extra strategic edge to NHTI’s highly successful basketball tradition which was built by legendary coach Paul Hogan during his tenure.
