NHTI Baseball Falls against Central Maine CC 2-0 in Fall Season Finale (10/05)

Auburn, ME. – The NHTI Baseball team concluded its fall season on Saturday as it fell to Central Maine CC 2-0. Andrew Young (Pittsburg, NH) picked up the loss for the Lynx throwing five innings giving up two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out three. Cody Grant (E. Ryegate, Vt.) threw the remaining inning striking out one. For the offense Bennett Curtain (Sandown, NH) went three-for-four while Pat McCarthy (Nashua, NH) went one-for-one with two walks.
NHTI Baseball Splits Saturday Double Header (09/14)
Concord, NH – NHTI Baseball split a double header on Saturday as they lost to Southern Maine CC in game one 9-1 and then defeated Central Maine CC in game two 8-6. In game one Adam Young (Pittsburg, NH) picked up the loss throwing four-and-two-thirds innings giving up six runs, three earned on three hits and five walks while striking out seven. Justin Paradise (Hudson, NH) scored the only run in game one for the Lynx as he went 1-for-3. In game two Riley Belleau (Goffstown, NH) started the game going four-and-two-thirds innings giving up six runs, five earned on six hits and three walks while striking out one. Jason Taylor (Belmont, NH) came in relief picking up the win going two-and-a-third innings no giving up a run while striking out one. For the offense Derek Canzano (Sandown, NH) went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI. Michael Toleman (Moultonborough, NH) added a 2-for-3 day with two runs scored and a walk while Matthew Lemire (Hooksett, NH) went 1-for-1 with an RBI and a pair of walks.
NHTI Baseball Opens 2019 Fall Season with 14-3 Rout of Central Maine CC (09/07)

Concord, N.H. – The NHTI Baseball team used 15 hits in seven innings to propel them to a 14-3 win against Central Maine CC on Saturday. Adam Young (Pittsburg, N.H.) picked up the win for the Lynx going six innings of work giving up one run on seven hits and three walks while striking out four. Cody Grant (East Ryegate, Vt.) came in for relief throwing one shutout inning. The offense was powered by the top of the order as the first four spots in the order went a combined 8-15 with six runs scored and 12 RBIs. Michael Toleman (Moultonboro, N.H.) out of the three hole went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs while Jason Taylor (Belmont, N.H.) and Bennett Curtin (Sandown, N.H.) each had two hits a piece with a pair of RBIs. Finally Matthew Lemire (Hooksett, N.H.) hit a three run homer with his only hit of the day out of the cleanup spot.
