NHTI Esports facing competition in 2021-2022 Season

The Lynx Esports team debuted as a club sport in 2020, as the competitive multiplayer video games are a perfect fit with NHTI’s Animation and Graphic Game Programming degree.

In the 2020-2021 season the team competed in numerous Super Smash Brothers Tournaments. The program also is having a Super Smash Brother High School Tournament to round off the 2020-21 campaign. NHTI Esports is led by professor Chad Johnson, who serves as the academic advisor, with help from student coordinators Zakary Kaplan and Christopher Florek.

Some of the games in which we compete are Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Rainbow Six.
