Frank Polito, Department Head Computer Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, Animation and Graphic Game Programming
Professor Frank Polito comes to NHTI with 30 years of research and development experience in the telecommunications industry. He started his career at Bell Laboratories which later became Lucent Technologies and then Alcatel-Lucent. Frank's industry experience in R&D afforded him the opportunity to broaden his electrical engineering expertise to include software development, system architecture, data communications, and technical management. In addition to his industry experience, Frank has been an adjunct in the engineering department at Merrimack College where he also served on the Industry Advisory Board for many years. Frank earned a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master's in EE from Cornell University; he will be teaching courses in both the CPET and EET programs.
William French, Professor EET/CPET
Professor William French has 30 years' experience as an engineer, product manager and engineering manager in the telecommunications and computer industries, prior to joining NHTI as an Adjunct Professor in 2003. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Professor French teaches Embedded Microprocessors (ELET 144C), Advanced Topics in Electronics (ELET 251C) , Senior Design Project ( ELET 305C & ELET 306C) as well as analog and digital electronics courses.
Harold Hart, Technician
Prior to joining NHTI in 1999, Harold worked for Northern Telecom and Tau-Tron, a division of General Signal, as hardware design engineer and an applications engineer.
He holds an Electronic Engineering Degree from NHTI and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree from the University of New Hampshire.
