Frank Polito, Department Head, CPET/EETFrank Polito, Department Head Computer Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, Animation and Graphic Game Programming

Professor Frank Polito comes to NHTI with 30 years of research and development experience in the telecommunications industry. He started his career at Bell Laboratories which later became Lucent Technologies and then Alcatel-Lucent.  Frank's industry experience in R&D afforded him the opportunity to broaden his electrical engineering expertise to include software development, system architecture, data communications, and technical management. In addition to his industry experience, Frank has been an adjunct in the engineering department at Merrimack College where he also served on the Industry Advisory Board for many years.  Frank earned a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master's in EE from Cornell University; he will be teaching courses in both the CPET and EET programs.

William French, Professor EET/CPETWilliam French, Professor EET/CPET

Professor William French has 30 years' experience as an engineer, product manager and engineering manager in the telecommunications and computer industries, prior to joining NHTI as an Adjunct Professor in 2003.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Professor French teaches Embedded Microprocessors (ELET 144C), Advanced Topics in Electronics (ELET 251C) , Senior Design Project (ELET 305C & ELET 306C) as well as analog and digital electronics courses.

Harold Hart, TechnicanLarry DiBiaso, Professor of EET

Larry DiBiaso joined NHTI in 2003 as Adjunct Professor in the EET, CPET and AGGP department.  In January 2011, Larry was appointed Professor of Engineering Technology, teaching the EET circuit analysis and electronics courses.  He earned a BSEE with honors and his MSEE at Northeastern University.  Professor DiBiaso has over 40 years of research, development and marketing experience in the telecommunications industry -- at companies such as Bell Laboratories, AT&T, and Plantronics/Wilcom -- including 19 years as founder and owner of his own company, dB Telco, specializing in transmission and network quality, and automated test instrumentation systems.

Larry has led standards teams on national network transmission plans and instrumentation for United States Independent Telephone Association (USITA) and the Exchange Carriers Standards Association (ECSA), chaired standards work within IEEE, and represented AT&T and the United States on the CCITT international standards groups in Geneva.

Prior to joining NHTI in 1999, Harold worked for Northern Telecom and Tau-Tron, a division of General Signal, as hardware design engineer and an applications engineer.

He holds an Electronic Engineering Degree from NHTI and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree from the University of New Hampshire.
