"Rosie" has been the ESOL Clerk at NHTI since 2013.  She manages the Conversation Partner Program, in which we pair up second language/culture students in our ESOL program with native-speaking students from other programs.  In the Fall of 2014 we were able to schedule 240 meetings within the college community!  This program offers our ESOL students the ability to practice their English language skills with native speakers, while at the same allowing native speakers to learn about different cultures of the world.  Rosie is also co-Advisor of the Cultural Exchange Club (CEC) -- a student-run organization on campus devoted to exploring issues of culture, language, and diversity -- which hosts numerous on-campus and community events throughout the academic year.  Rosie is currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University working toward her Masters degree in Psychology.
