Accelerated Associate Degree Programs
Accounting is a critical component of every type and size of business and industry including government, healthcare, education, not-for-profit, and military organizations. Accounting employees provide much of the information used by these organizations to make critical financial decisions. We also offer credit transfer options to 4-year colleges and universities. This degree is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
This Business program prepares you for the challenges
of the dynamic business field. We offer a broad background, and our associate degree curriculum includes courses in accounting, business law, human resources, computer
applications, economics, English, and math.
You’ll understand the complex relationships between law enforcement, the judicial system, and correctional agencies from faculty experts working in the field for decades. You’ll learn about criminal and juvenile law, drug abuse as it relates to the law, police administration, corrections, and more.
Whether your plans for your associate degree in Liberal Arts is going to be your launch into a new career, you’re trying to figure out what you’d like to study, or want to save money on general education requirements of a future bachelor’s degree. Our Liberal Arts Associate in Arts degree program offers lots of opportunities to explore different areas of interest.

Develop foundational skills for success in management, business law, marketing, communications, accounting, and strategy. You’ll sharpen your skills in planning, decision-making, and implementation through case studies and hands-on exercises. You’ll also gain perspectives on contemporary management theory and practice from faculty experts who have been practicing in the field for decades.
Graduates of NHTI’s Medical Coding certificate program are prepared for careers in the healthcare industry. Medical coders play a critical role in ensuring that medical procedures are properly coded so that record-keeping and patient billing is accurate.
In this program, you will learn debugging, error-handling, troubleshooting, how to program for decision-making, how to design and create relational databases using SQL, how to design and create mobile applications, how to develop secure websites, and more.

All NHTI students can use the services of the Academic Center for Excellence, which has a very useful repository of online writing resources, math links, study guides, and self-assessments. And, as an NHTI student, you also have access to 24/7 online support with SmarThinking, a tutoring service for every online class.
The NHTI Learning Commons Library has many online resources that you can access from your computer, laptop, and mobile device. If you venture on campus, you have access to all of our library resources and facilities, and online, you can access databases and resources, plus eJournals, enewspapers, and periodicals!
