Giving Tuesday at NHTI
Give to NHTI this holiday season

On Giving Tuesday, the world gets a little closer, supportive, and compassionate.

This Dec. 1 and throughout the holiday giving season, please consider supporting our NHTI students, who are training to be on the local front lines of today’s and tomorrow’s health crises.

Your generosity goes toward helping support our students and frontline responder programs, such as Nursing, Paramedic Emergency Medicine, Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Addiction Counseling, Radiation Therapy, and more – many of which are the only community college programs of their kind in New Hampshire!

Make the difference today for students looking to be the difference tomorrow.

Together, We Can Do Great Things

NHTI is always open to alumni, community members, and local business people volunteering on our campus. We welcome your time and talents to help make our school a better place for our students.

There are many ways to volunteer at the college; here are just a few examples:

  • Be a guest speaker in a class related to your career.
  • Offer to be a mentor to current students, helping them with internship and career advise and providing guidance and support.
  • Organize a class reunion or other alumni events.
  • Help with athletic events and student athlete support.
  • Help support student organizations, teams, and academic clubs.
  • Be a spokesperson on behalf of NHTI to the business community and the N.H. Legislature.

There is no limit to the ways you can share your time and talent with NHTI!

Contact us today at 603-271-6484 x4239 or NHTIalumniaffairs@ccsnh.edu if you are interested in getting involved and giving back. Thank you!

Your Donations Make NHTI Successful!

Support from our alumni, community, and friends makes it possible for great things to happen here at NHTI. A financial donation or the gift of your time and expertise in volunteering will make a difference today.

NHTI relies on our supporters – alumni, community members, business sponsors – to keep tuition costs down and enhance our academic offerings and student services. We have may ways for you to give today to help NHTI remain a student and community resource for many years to come.

President’s Fund for Excellence

The President’s Fund for Excellence supports student scholarships, student support services, and high priority academic needs that enhance student learning. In 2010, the fund was established to support student scholarships and provide our academic programs with funding for high-priority needs that will enhance student learning.

Since its inception, we have awarded more than 60 scholarships to NHTI students looking to continue their education, providing over $48,000 towards their goal.

The fund has helped support our Engineering Technology Programs by purchasing a new U-Print Rapid Prototype 3-D Printer and funding the transportation and instillation of a donated piece of equipment from BAE Systems. These two pieces of equipment enhance student learning and preparation for employment in STEM related fields.

In 2019, the fund was expanded to help with student support services. These services include helping students to purchase books, covering testing and professional certification fees, and offering professional development opportunities.

Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is an association of friends of NHTI who have included NHTI in their estate planning with a remembrance gift. This type of gift supports future NHTI students as they strive to reach their educational and career goals and ensures that NHTI fulfills its missions for many years to come.

You can leave a legacy at NHTI in the following ways:

When you designate NHTI to receive a specific dollar amount, property, or percentage of your assets, you can reduce the burden of taxes on your family.

Designate NHTI as a beneficiary of your retirement account, bank account, or life insurance policy. This is usually as simple as filling out a beneficiary designation form.

Help future students to pay for their education by endowing a scholarship. This involves a minimum gift of $25,00 and a vision of the scholarship criteria.

Gifts can be designated to benefit specific academic programs, student support services, athletics, and existing scholarship funds.

Contact Laura Scott, director of Alumni and Development, at 603-271-6484 x4239 or lascott@ccsnh.edu if you would like more information about these options to make a real, long-term impact at NHTI.

Please consult your financial advisor and/or legal counsel when considering making these types of gifts.

Student Scholarships

NHTI has many scholarships already established to help students pay for school. These scholarships are awarded based on programs of study, GPA, community involvement, and/or financial need.

Donating today to one of these scholarships will support students as they continue their educational journey.

If you would like to establish a new scholarship, contact Laura Scott, director of Alumni and Development, at 603-271-6484 x4239 (lascott@ccsnh.edu) or email NHTIalumniaffairs@ccsnh.edu.

 Major Gifts to NHTI

If you are considering giving a major gift to NHTI, thank you! Your generosity and support of NHTI and our students is wonderful. We want to work with you to make sure that the vision you have for your donation – whether it is to endow a chair in a specific academic program, upgrade our athletic fields and equipment, or purchase new equipment in one of the Allied Health learning labs – fits with our planning process and timelines.

Contact Laura Scott, director of Alumni and Development, at 603-271-6484 x4239 (lascott@ccsnh.edu) or email NHTIalumniaffairs@ccsnh.edu if you would like more information about this donation option.

Memorial and Celebratory Gifts

Donating in memory or honor of those you love and respect is a wonderful way to celebrate them while supporting NHTI. Families can specify NHTI as the place to send memorial contributions for their loved ones.

Celebratory gifts commemorating a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion are great ways to show someone you care in a meaningful way.
