Dear NHTI Spring 2020 Graduate,
Congratulations on reaching this milestone in your academic career! Although we are unable to celebrate with you in person, we are cheering you on and wishing you all the best.
A few announcements regarding Commencement….
Commencement Survey Results
Thank you to all those who completed the Commencement Survey. The feedback showed a strong interest in holding an in-person Commencement Ceremony in the fall. The feedback has been sent to the Commencement Planning Committee, as well as NHTI College Administration.
At this time, the College has not made a final decision. We would like to hold an in-person celebration in the fall, but a date has not been finalized. As you are aware, the state has begun to loosen the Stay-at-Home orders, but has not authorized a return to normal operations. At this point, we are waiting for direction and guidance from the state. We will continue to send you updates via email throughout the summer.
Although our in-person celebration has been postponed, NHTI is pleased to announce that NHTI’s Virtual Commencement will be uploaded to Facebook, YouTube, and our website on Friday, May 22, 2020.
The video will feature both faculty and student speakers as well as several shout-outs! The vibrancy of student life on campus will be highlighted through a moving photo montage. We hope you will join us!
Caps and Gowns
NHTI will begin mailing graduates their caps and gowns at the end of the month. Caps and gowns will only be sent to Graduates who request them and have paid their balance in full and completed exit loan requirements with Financial Aid. Graduates who are interested in receiving their cap and gown are asked to complete a short survey so that we may verify size and mailing address.

Diplomas and Certificates
Although the official Commencement Ceremony will be held at a later date, graduates will receive their diplomas and certificates via mail as soon as final grades are posted and completion of all graduation requirements are verified. We anticipate these to be mailed out early June. Additionally, completion of your degree will be documented on your transcript.
If your address has changed and you haven’t updated the College or will change prior to diplomas being mailed, please email the Registrar’s Office at firstname.lastname@example.org with your updated address.
Graduates must have their student accounts paid in full prior to receiving their diploma, certificates or official transcripts. Graduates should check their account balances online. The Bursar’s Office is available Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm for phone consultations at (603) 230-4012.
The Financial Aid Office will be contacting students who have received aid while attending NHTI regarding your loan exit information. Please check your email account for this important correspondence. The Financial Aid Office is available Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm for phone consultations at (603) 230-4013.
If you have any questions or concerns please call the Student Affairs Office at (603) 230-4040 or email me at email@example.com.
