The 2004-2005 tournament banquet was highlighted by the announcement of the Division II All-America and Academic All-America selections. For the Lynx, Matt Spanos of Newport, NH was named First Team All-America, with Nate Truncellito named to the Second Team, and Zach Hall of Tilton, NH named Honorable Mention. Other First Team All-America selections represented in the tournament are Hesser College’s Stanley Chamblain; Patrick Dempsey of Central Maine CC; Steve Patrick of Southern Maine CC; Jeremy Brown of Golden State Baptist; Chris Distefano of St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn; and Eddie Brown of Marion Military. Tim Trieber of Golden State was named both Second Team All America and Academic All-America. He was joined by teammates Jaime Ledesma and Justin West on the Academic AA team. Chris Taft of Vermont Technical College and T.J. Byrnes of St. Joe’s-Brooklyn were named Honorable Mention All-America.
Also receiving honors at the banquet were Joe Cocozello, sixth year head coach at St. Joseph’s of Brooklyn, who was named USCAA Division II Coach of the Year; and Hesser College’s Mike Fischer, who received the award as Athletic Director of the Year.
