Coming for Spring 2014
(BI 180 Tropical Ecology and Conservation, 4 credits)
Travel dates 03/14/14 - 03/23/14
Explore some of the world's most beautiful and unusual plant and animal habitats from the treetops on a canopy tour, from the walking trails in the Cloud Forest, and even from the bedroom window of your lodge! NHTI's Spring Adventure in Costa Rica Program is not only a feast for your senses, it's a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in another culture and to get to know the people who work hard to conserve and protect their unique environment. It also fulfills the Biology lab requirement for NHTI's 4 credit, online Tropical Ecology and Conservation course (BI 180).
Please join us! This 10 day adventure is open to any and all interested students or adult travelers. Anyone who loves the outdoors will love this trip! It offers plenty of warm sun, beautiful white sand beaches, spectacular scenery, friendly people and live volcanoes! Open to NHTI students, NHTI community and the public. NHTI students participating in this trip must also pay for the cost of the course (BI 180) to earn credit.
