Coming for Summer 2014
Travel dates 5/26/2014 - 6/1/2014
If art or architecture—or food, or wine or beaches—is your thing, Barcelona has a place for you. On a flexible and immersive visit to the Catalan capital, you’ll see exactly how close the city’s beloved modernist got to completing his magnum opus, La Sagrada Familia, which is nothing short of colossal in person. Gaudí designed the piece to require construction methods that had not yet been invented, and today, more than 130 years after construction began, its ever-changing edifi ce sets the tone for the entire city: permanently in flux, and forever looking toward the future. It also fulfills the requirement for NHTI's 3 credit Elementary Spanish II course, or NHTI's 4 credit Contemporary Spanish Literature course.
Please join us! This 7 day adventure is open to any and all interested students or adult travelers. Anyone who loves historical architecture, food, wine and beaches will love this trip! Open to NHTI students, NHTI community and the public. NHTI students wishing to earn credit must also pay for the cost of the corresponding course.
