Instructor Diana Petschauer, M.Ed., ATP
Diana Petschauer, M.Ed., ATP, completed her Master’s in Special Education at the University of New Hampshire, and has over 15 years of experience in Special Education and related therapies, Pre K-12th grade as well as post-secondary. Diana is a nationally certified ATP (Assistive Technology Professional/ Practitioner) via RESNA. She is the Founder and CEO of Assistive Technology for Education, LLC, providing Assistive Technology consultation and training, including assessments, recommendations, individual and group training, professional development workshops, and live webinars. Diana travels nationally and internationally to present at conferences such as ATIA, Closing the Gap, CSUN, and Spectronics-Inclusive Learning Technologies. Diana also provides assistive technology support and services for adults and post-secondary students, to access education, the community, and employment. Diana is a contracted trainer for The Institute on Disability in NH, as well as NH Vocational Rehabilitation, and the NHAIM service provider via the NH Department of Education. She is the SPED liaison for NHSTE (New Hampshire Society for Technology in Education), the NH branch of ISTE. Diana also consults with clients & organizations regarding 508 compliance for websites and testing. Previously Diana held the position as the AT Specialist at the University of New Hampshire, Disability Services for Students.

For students with print disabilities due to dyslexia or specific learning disability, low vision, or difficulties with processing or executive functioning skills, AT solutions can assist with reading, writing, computing, organization, note taking, memory, and scheduling. See technologies to support struggling readers such as text-to-speech, word prediction, note taking, and voice recognition demonstrated. You will learn realistic methods of implementing AT for everyday access to curriculum and learning materials.
