NHTI nursing students who are New Hampshire residents can now apply for dual admission to the Online BSN/MSN programs at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).  The application can be submitted after completion of the first semester of NHTI's nursing program.  There is no extra cost for applying dual admission, and there is no penalty if the student chooses not to go on for an advanced degree.

All classes taken in NHTI's nursing program can be applied toward an advanced degree at SNHU.  Additional general education credits may also be applicable.  A student may apply up to 90 credits from NHTI toward the 120 credits required for a BSN, so that only 30 more credits need to be taken at SNHU.  A student could theoretically complete a BSN degree in as little as 13 months.

Special discounted prices will apply to SNHU classes taken by dual admission students.  SNHU will offer a per-credit-hour scholarship of 50% of the difference between the per-credit-hour tuition rates of NHTI and SNHU.

BSN courses are applicable toward the MSN degree.  (Note: Discounted prices do not apply to MSN courses.)

This program is financial aid eligible.  Contact the Financial Aid office to discuss aid options.
