Deadlines in April!
New Hampshire Electric Cooperative Foundation
The NHEC Foundation Scholarship (this has replaced what was once the NHEC Dollars for Scholars program) there are five, $1,500 scholarships available to students enrolled or planning to enroll this year in a full-time traditional college or university (one of which will be reserved for a student attending a vocational/technical institution) in a program designed to enhance the education and resulting careers of members student. Applicants must be a member of the NH Electric Co-op, or be residing with a parent or legal guardian that is a member of the NH Electric Co-op. Application must be postmarked no later than April 25, 2014 to NHEC Foundation, 579 Tenney Mountain Hwy., Plymouth, NH 03264. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.
Concord Hospital Trust Scholarship Fund
Established to inspire and enable students to pursue careers in the nursing and allied health care professions to enrich their lives, while ensuring the continued availability of quality health care to the Greater Concord community. The Scholarships are available to deserving students pursuing careers primarily in nursing. Funds also are available on a limited basis to students pursuing careers in various qualifying fields of allied health care.

Deadlines in May!
Tilton Northfield Scholarship Fund
The Tilton Northfield Scholarship Fund was established to benefit area students who are pursuing post-secondary school education in technical colleges. This fund represents the Rotary Club’s commitment to helping families support advanced educational opportunities for their children. This is only one way in which the Tilton Northfield Rotary Club gives back to its surrounding communities. The awards are funded through fundraising activities throughout the year, such as our radio auction, pet photo contest, and our annual golf tournament. These awards are made based upon scholastic achievement, participation in extra curricular activities and demonstrated financial need. The deadline for this application is May 1st. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.
Grantham Garden Club Scholarship
Each year the Grantham Garden Club offers financial scholarships to New Hampshire residents preparing for a career in horticulture, landscaping, forestry, agriculture, plant sciences, or environmental sciences at a post-secondary institution. The students, to be eligible, must be enrolled/about to enroll part-time or full-time in a certified college, technical, or vocational school program in one of these fields. The financial award is sent directly to the student’s account at his/her school, and may be used for tuition, books, or other expenses that support his/her education. The scholarship amount is determined each year. In the past the club has awarded between $2000 and $3000 in aid. The amount may be divided among more than one applicant, depending on the number of applications received and the merits of the applicants.
Candidates must submit their applications by May 1. College Equals Opportunity Scholarship
The College Equals Opportunity (CEO) Scholarship is one of many different strategies The NHHEAF Network Organization employs to promote education beyond high school for New Hampshire residents. In partnership with several New Hampshire chief executive officers, business owners and nonprofit leaders, the NHHEAF Network Organizations has recently released the College Equals Opportunity (CEO) Scholarship application for 2014.
Eligible college students must be:
- New Hampshire residents entering their junior or senior year in college (in-state or out of state) in the fall of 2013.
- Scholarships will be awarded to deserving students who demonstrate leadership abilities, an understanding of the value of higher education and financial need.

Concord Lions Club
The Concord Lions Club will offer 3 scholarships this year. Students who are enrolled in one of the following schools would be eligible: Concord High, Bishop Brady High, Merrimack Valley High or Nursing/Health Students from NHTI. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, scholastic ability and school & community service/activities. Consideration will be given for Scholastic Aptitude, Character, Leadership and other notable initiatives. Deadline for applying is May 2, 2014. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.
